Why Apelace21?
An appellation (apelace in Czech) is a designation of origin for a wine or any other delicacy. It can refer to a territory, a region or a historic homestead. It guarantees not only the place of origin, above all, the quality.
But for foodies, the appellation is much more. It will remind you of the feeling you experienced. The mood of a pleasant evening spent with friends. It will arouse curiosity and appetite for a new culinary experience.
That is why we are Apelace21. We want you to remember what you experienced with us, not just our menu. It goes without saying that you will like the food.
But more important to us is the experience you take with you.

Volařík in Apelace21

The Volařík family has been faithfully cultivating their love of wine since World War II, when the founder of the family tradition, Leopold Volařík, learned the art of viticulture and winemaking from German old-timers. Through diligence, learning, humility, the selection of great experts and an unwavering love of wine, the Volařík Winery, which, among other things, became the Winemaker of the Year 2025, has managed to establish itself in a short time among the producers of the highest quality wine in the Czech Republic and is reaping successes in domestic and foreign competitions.

The Becker winery is not only one of the oldest family wineries in Alsace, but also in the world. The Beckers have been making wines for 13 generations, specifically since 1610.
